ARCHIVE CINE Back to home page DVD compatibility - good news for USA                     With the vast majority of our website visitors being US based, we thought we'd research the PAL compatibility issue - and the news is looking good! Thank you to one of our longstanding customers from Minnesota who has been checking out the latest TVs and DVD players. Flat panel LCD, DLP and plasma televisions will all screen PAL DVDs with no problem at all. Two of the new DVD players that upconvert to 1080p will play PAL: Philips and LG. In addition, you shouldn't have any problem playing our DVDs through a pc. The newer MACs will also play PAL, and the quality is particularly good on the latest iMAC so we are told.
