40th anniversary of the end of Southern Steam
As well as featuring this year's celebration trains, we take a retrospective look at some of the unrepeatable sequences that we have captured over the past 16 years. This features locomotives 828, 30777, 35028, 34027, 80080 and 30053. It includes our exclusive footage taken on the now threatened Folkestone harbour branch in September 1991 when we were able to film from the footplates of 34027 Taw Valley, banking locomotive 80080 and many exclusive lineside locations on the steep 1 in 36 climb.
