PSOV - Preserved Steam On Video - was set up in 1985 by Karl Jauncey whose lifelong passion for steam locomotives, love of the countryside and artistic creativity has made this company the UK's leading producer of contemporary main line steam videos.

Karl and his fellow cameraman, Dave Richards travel around forty thousand miles each year to cover steam events on the main lines of England, Wales and Scotland. The programmes they produce feature all action shots of locomotives being stretched to their limits: roaring through open countryside, slogging up some of the most taxing climbs, shrieking through stations at night....

All material shot since 1988 has been recorded and edited to broadcast standards. The acquisition of digital technology in 1998 has further improved picture quality as well as adding an exciting new opportunity - the filming of spectacular night sequences.

All titles issued since January 1999 include stereo soundtracks.
