When steam hauled trains returned to the southern heartland after a break of 15 years, they understandably became a major attraction for rail enthusiasts - particularly for those who had fond memories of the times when steam reigned supreme and journeys were as exciting as the time spent at the final destination.

Recognising the emotion and nostalgia that this return to steam evoked, Steam Dreams came up with the idea of recreating the experience in all its former glory, providing day trips to some of the UK's most beautiful cities, with excellent food, service and surroundings along the way - the ultimate day out for enthusiasts and families alike.

For those who have yet to enjoy at first hand a Steam Dreams experience, this programme will provide a taste of what is in store, offering a beautiful and powerful combination of steam trains in the English landscape throughout the seasons.  For others who have already had the pleasure, why not rekindle those emotions with a souvenir of your journey.
